Their first taste of the game.

Our league introduces kids to volleyball in a safe, enjoyable way while preparing them for the middle school level. With 6 teams of 10 players, there’s plenty of opportunity for growth and competition.

Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience, we welcome all players in grades 4–6 who are not on a travel team. Many kids never get to experience volleyball before trying out for a team — we want to change that.

Simmons Middle School, Hoover

Who

Players (girls & boys) 12 and younger in grades 4–6 who are not on a travel team. Room for 60 campers (6 teams of 10).

When

Thursday evenings, 5:30–7:00 PM — 8 sessions starting in January.

2027 Dates

January 21 & 28 · February 4, 11, 18 & 25 · March 4 & 11

Cost

$265. A $25 deposit is due at registration; the remaining balance is due January 7, 2027.

Coaching & Jersey

Each team has a coach, and every player gets a practice/game jersey.

What to Bring

Tennis or volleyball shoes, knee pads and a water bottle. Jerseys are handed out once camp starts.

Register individually and we’ll place your child on a team. During registration you can request up to 2 players to be paired with — we’ll make every effort to honor it, but it isn’t guaranteed and must be listed on the registration form.

Payment

A $25 deposit is due at registration. The remaining balance is auto-collected through PlayMetrics on January 7. Balances can also be paid by Venmo or check — please include your baller’s name.
